Guiding Hand comes out of a family that has worked in healthcare and care management for decades. We operate three licensed RCFEs in the San Gabriel Valley, with a fourth on the way, and we have run our own facilities since 2021. The guidance we give clients is the playbook we use ourselves. No, and no honest consultant can. Licensing depends on your property, your application, and state review. We prepare you thoroughly and improve your readiness, but the decision rests with the California Department of Social Services.
How long does it take to open an RCFE?
Timelines vary by property, county, and the state review queue, so we do not promise a date. What we do is help you avoid the common delays that quietly add months.
Do I need to own the property first?
No. Many clients work with us during the property search so we can review suitability before they commit. Choosing the wrong building is one of the most expensive mistakes a new owner can make.
Where do you work?
